It’s time to be remotely cheesy and look back at the past year. Even though I love a fresh new start, it’s great to look back on all the things I’ve achieved this year.

January I kicked off the year with some wonderful ladies – and concocted the idea that I would raise money for the wonderful charity Alzheimer’s Society (link here to my justgiving page – it has all the crazy deets of what I’ve done). I saw my first ever football game with work and I also walked round London admiring the wonderful Lumiere light festival.

Lumiere Festival (London 2018)

In February, I baked sweet treats for charity, had a galentines that was beaut and swiping right did me a favour, bringing me with my other half. February was cold and snowy but it flew by before my eyes.

Date Night (2018)

March sprung right up on me – I tried conquering my fears, climbing the O2 on a date night, went to Wales for a cheeky weekend away – hiking, walking and getting some well needed fresh air.

Admiring Snowdonia (March 2018)

In April, I did something wild. I faced my fears and jumped off a 300ft crane for charity. Did I mention I was scared of heights??? I wont lie, it was terrifying but also one of the most calming experiences I’ve ever had – would 100% recommend people taking the jump! I also escaped to Norfolk with the girls for some fresh sea air and much needed catch-up time – much wine was consumed and many boardgames were played. I also went to see the incredible Sam Smith – what a show…

Prior to jumping 300ft….

May brought another year adding to my age – hitting 23! I spread the celebrations across a whole weekend and enjoyed every second. I baked more sweet treats for charity – because who doesn’t love cake? 👀 I also jumped out of my comfort zone and decided to apply for a new job…

Birthday Celebrations

June brought a weekend away with the girls to Newcastle – to listen to the incredible ED SHEERAN! It also brought my other half’s birthday, meaning more celebrations, more fun and a cheeky ticket to see Beyonce and Jay-Z too! Not only did I get to see some incredible artists and celebrate more happy days, it brought around Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (o-m-g it was incred, go get tickets and live your freaking magical mind!)

Over halfway through the year and already so many incredible memories. This brought on July and more memories to make – including a week away to the isle of Ibiza with the girls! Plus the exciting new start in a new job 🎉 It brought more birthdays, more celebrations and more fun things, plus England neaaarly bringing footie home!

We’re hitting month 8 – August was upon us. It was hot, sunny and bloody beautiful. BBQs galore, ice creams constantly and a cheeky pimms or two. This was my final month at Tesco HQ and on to new adventures. But also fun things – I abseiled off the Arcellormittal Orbital, watched Top Gun at the outdoor cinema – then realised I’d put up with my other half for a whole six months! Where has the time gone???

September was a fresh start for me – after some much needed relaxation in Tunisia with my other half. A week away, sun and sea (plus card games, jet skiing and more fun!) But a new job awaited and so did some delayed birthday plans – Junkyard Golf and a tour of the tubes, specifically those used as bunkers for WW2!

10 months into the year – it was October before I knew it. October was a bit of a quiet month for me – I walked across London with my mum for charity, threw myself into the gym and began learning my new role.

We’re onto November – the penultimate month. I spent this month preparing for winter and getting in the festive spirit. Me and my mumma walked all over London again, but this time admiring the beautiful Christmas lights and seeing all the decorated shop windows. I also convinced my other half to come to Ally Pally fireworks! But then we also went to see the incredible Mumford & Sons – I have never seen someone so happy, but he loved it!

Covent Garden

Finally it’s December. It’s still December as I write this. And looking back it has been one of the most incredible years. This month has brought a cheeky lil weekend to Edinburgh, christmas dinners galore and times with friends and family. I can’t wait to see in the new year and go on plenty of new adventures.

Comment below the highlight of your 2018! I’d love to hear what you got up to!
