Well hello 2021.

Couple (male and female) in London underneath Christmas Lights
It’s been 10 months since I last put words on this page. March 2020 was the last time I actually wanted to write. Then COVID-19 hit. I felt overwhelmed, lost and spiralling. And the easiest thing to drop the ball on was my blog. Because I didn’t want to continue

Feeling a bit stiff πŸ€•

I’ve spent more time in my life, feeling achey and sore in my joints, than not… and that is pretty normal day-to-day life for me but perhaps not the ordinary person. Hi, my name is Francesca and I suffer with Joint Hypermobility Syndrome πŸ’πŸ»β€β™€οΈ Joint hypermobility syndrome (JHS) is a

Is it worth it?

I’m back for another – is it worth it? This time I tested out the new ’16 Wishes’ range from Florence by Mills (a.k.a Millie Bobby Brown – world class young’un who is making her way into anything and everything). I managed to get my hands on the eyeshadow palette and

The work-filled dread πŸ‘€

We all have it – whether you go back to work on the 2nd January or managed to squeeze a few extra days off and like me you’re heading back on the 6th – the dread starts to fill you about going back to work and actually returning to normal

New Year, New Decade πŸ’πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

How is it 2020? Where has 2019 gone? Sometimes I honestly feel like that I blinked and whole seasons went by last year… but all jokes aside, not only have we begun a new year, but an entire new decade. I feel as though this year I will attempt to

This is going to hurt πŸ“š

book, this is going to hurt, adam kay, doctor, reading, review
So don’t know what’s gotten into my system, but I’ve been reading like no tomorrow recently. I used to be such a bookworm when I was was younger, going through a book a day sometimes! But growing up, sometimes all I want to do is put Netflix on and relaaaax.

So I’m still trying to hold onto summer so badly – as much as I loooove autumn and all things that come with, I don’t feel like this summer has given it’s all just yet… So in order to try and re-live summer for just one more day, here’s a

To my pops

graduation, laugther, family, daughter, father
Bless – my incredible pops has finally hit his mid-fifties ❀️ My pops will probably never see this post (mostly as he literally only got facebook yesterday and is fairly inept with the whole internet) But I wanted to talk about him, especially as he’s a year older, bless him!

Feeling festive in @fandfclothing and trying to be a little normal over Christmas πŸŽ„
@ minimansiii

So I used to do a monthly post on my old blog, featuring my favourite products or things I’ve really enjoyed over the past month. I’ve decided to bring this back and kick it off with January!

January Faves.png

1 – First up is the Adidas GazellesΒ which were a Christmas present (this is a common theme on this post – sorry in advance πŸ˜‚) from my other half. Won’t lie, have been admiring these since early October and they are a dream to wear. Thought they had completely run out of my size but was thoroughly surprised Christmas day ❀️

2 – Urban Decay Eye Shadow Primer in Original has been a game changer for me – helps boost the pigment of my eyeshadow and keep it looking fresh all night!

3 – New Look Sequin BodysuitΒ Β was a christmas present from my wonderful mumma (the woman has taste, I will give her that!) and is such a nice piece to add to my very un-sparkly wardrobe!

4 – Second Urban Decay product – the B6 Primer Spray! I tend to get quite oily skin, and most primers tend to just add and build on that. I tried B6 as a recommendation and I am loving it – my skin feels even and matte!

5 – This is something I scooped in the sale (some Christmas presents weren’t meant to be) and to be honest I love it. The Bookham Rib Knit DressΒ from Jack Wills is so so cosy – but fits well and keeps me warm. I also love that it’s something I can throw on, dress up or wear to the office – love a multi-use dress πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

6 – Also from Jack Wills sale section – the Honeylane Embroidered CrewΒ . This fits like a dream, but comes up slightly on the big side – would recommend going down a size to still get a cosy sweater feel!

7 – Oldie but goldie, especially as the weather starts to drop. Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil. I have mine in the shade honey, and honey you better believe me, this has saved my lips from cracking in the freezing cold temperatures ❀️

8 – Chillys Water Bottles – I am the proud owner of two and I actually bought one for my other half for Christmas! He loves it (which I’m so happy about) and I love mine. It’s definitely helping me drink 2 litres a day and keeping my water icy cold ❄️

9 – My mumma scored again on the Christmas presents, treating me to Topshop Stretch PU TrousersΒ – they are beyond comfy and also super warm with a fleece feel lining. This product and number 3 actually made my New Years Eve outfit – like I said, the woman has taste 😏

10 – Finally is something gym related (because it’s January, and every third person I talk to is at the gym…) These Gymshark Flex LeggingsΒ are a dream. First off – squat proof, which is great for leg day. Secondly – they just pop a bit of colour into my life, which is desperately needed in this dreary time of year!

So that’s my favourites this month! If you liked this post and would like to see more monthly favourites, let me know below 😊
